The Paper Variety POLKA DOT Challenge!
It's my off week over at TPV, but I LOVE Polka Dots!! This is just a bright, fun and funky layout that I made of my silly daughter! The precious pink polka dot paper is from Pretty Little Studio, Polaroid stamp & banner (Thanks Heather!!) is from Lawn Fawn, also some Sassafrass and other fun stuff! I made this a few weeks ago cropping at The Paper Niche with my girls, this is pretty much all I did in about 6 hours!!! LOL more work and less blab!
Anyways! Back to the Topic, this week's challenge is FUN and who doesn't love polka dots? I'm sure you have some Bo Bunny dots laying around that just want to be scrapped into something fabulous!! Remember you have to upload it before Sunday night for the feature or Tuesday for your chance to WIN!
This week's sponsor is The Paper Trail. Up for grabs is $25 to buy some goodies!!! Yay!!!
So go get crafting!

Sketches in Thyme DT Call
I love a great sketch and I have really enjoyed participating in the Sketches in Thyme challenges, so I figured I'd try out for the design team. Seeing I've been in a scrap funk I have been putting off my submission! haha! I think I've done this sketch 4 times now! I picked up the new Webster's Pages paper at the Paper Niche along with the awesome blue trim and the new Kaiser flowers. The pictures I snagged from my mom's house along with the buttons (ssshhh!) and I wanted to make her something for my parent's anniversary. Ever since my dad passed away I always make it a point to get her something or make her something because I know it's a hard day for her! I guess it already "wedding themed, something blue, something old, something borrowed (lol her pictures & buttons!!)" So I'm very happy with the outcome. Here's the sketch...
Be sure to go check out Sketches in Thyme's DT Call and well you have until tomorrow night! LOL! Because I procrastinated!!

The Paper Variety Number Challenge!!
Happy Wednesday everyone! And Happy Birthday to Suzy!! It's my week again over at The Paper Variety & this is a fun challenge!! You have to incorporate a number on your project! That's it! How fun is that? Here's what I created...
While I was up visiting my mom I found my dad's stash of pictures and had so much fun going through it!!! I found this awesome picture of my first day of preschool! It wasn't a Polaroid, that's just my amazing lawn fawn stamp! I distressed it of course to match the feel of the page! I used my favorite sassafras paper that I had been saving. You really can't see the dimension, but I'll take another shot!
This week's amazing prize is courtesy of WeScrap! They have donated such an amazing prize to one lucky participant!
The Whimsy Kit! Which is chock full of wonderful papers & embellishments! Be sure to check back at the Paper Variety on Friday to learn more about this amazing sponsor!!
I can't wait to see every one's entry & I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week! Thank you all for your wonderful comments! They are truly inspiring!!

Where have I been???
I've been "out of it" lately! In a total scrap funk & everything I do looks stupid I feel!! So I've been keeping busy! Here's a look at what I've been doing for the past 2 weeks or so!!
I hung out with Mr. Fancy Pants for a few hours Friday night! Totally bummed I couldn't crop, but had to rush home because I was throwing my hubby his 31st birthday party & had to cook! LOL! He is a RIOT for those of you who have never met him!! Not to mention he taught my daughter new words!! @@ Love ya Dan!
And let's not forget about the Kangaroo Habitat we had to build as well! My daughter is so awesome. She only burnt me once with the hot glue gun! She did an amazing job picking out the supplies for the project as well as gluing it all in! Her dad & her made the kangaroo while I was at work on Saturday! Totally impressed with my 7.5yr old!!!
So that's what I've been up to!!! The blog candy is over 75 participators & welcome all my new followers!!! I'll have the new addition to the candy posted tomorrow! Now I've got to go read up on what I've got to do for the Brownie Troop Meeting tomorrow!! Love ya all! Stay safe out there!!
I've been making lots of cupcakes!!! These are just 4 of the dozens & dozens of cupcakes I've been making!! It seems like everyone has a birthday right now! These are the 4 I made today for my hubby to take into work tomorrow for his birthday! I've made quite a few lately!! I should have a break after easter until June :D on the cupcakes! (unless I get a lot of orders!!)

The Paper Variety Photo Inspiration Challenge!
Just in time for April Shower's comes this weeks challenge from The Paper Variety! I love this image!! I actually wanted to use it on my project!! The rules are to use the photo as inspiration in creating any paper project! Could be a card, layout, gift bag, etc, etc! The possibilites are endless!!! But you do have to have your projects in by Sunday night if you would like the chance to be a spotlight submission or by NOON on Tuesday at the latest if you would like to be in the running for this weeks AWESOME prize!! Now here is my take on the challenge...
I've been in a scrap-rutt lately, so I've made a card! Seems like the entire week I spent on Spring Break cropping at my Mom's house wore my creativity out when it comes to layouts! LOL! I also attempted to machine stitch a zig-zag on my papers, jan does it so wonderful and mine looks, well, like a 15 year old boy sewed it up in home-ec!! I can't wait to see what everyone's projects turn out to be! Here's the awesome prize sponsored by Studio Calico...
Included in the prize in 1 sheet of each from the collection & a selection of the embellishments! What an awesome prize!! So head on over to The Paper Variety & check out everyone else's amazing work and get busy!!!
