I was lucky enough to be asked to participate and work with some of Tessa's awesome product!  I created a few things with them so you can see how versatile they are!  Here's what I created for this special event!

 Tessa sent me a sweet bunch of pink and white flowers to play with!  As you can see I had so much fun!  I created a super sweet mini album out of 2 paper towel rolls, added that perfect touch to a present and the perfect pair to my "m" to hang on my art room door!  Here are some more pictures of my sweet little mini album!

 Here is the cutest Lollipop Lace & Felt flower on the front with some felt leaves!  It was my favorite one, that's why it's on front :D

Next is the prettiest rolled fabric rose!  These are so sweet!  I'm going to have to order some more!  They are perfect too because they aren't too bulky!  They would be perfect on the side of a headband too!!

Sketches in Thyme Open Challenge

Hello!! I've been so busy I forgot to schedule the post for this morning!!  It's open challenge time at Sketches in Thyme!!  I chose this awesome sketch from Jill Sprout and used the new Echo Park Happy Days paper that was so much fun to play with!  So bright and cheerful!  You have until the end of the month to get your entry in & you can use ANY sketch!  You can even design your own as well :D  Here's the sketch that I used!

 

TPV Challenge Threads, Twine, Etc

Happy Thursday night!  I'm so excited that tomorrow is FRIDAY!! Yeah.  What a LONG week!  I can play along now at TPV so this one I actually just created for Nuts About Sketches DT call, but it's got twine!!  :D  I actually got onto the Nuts about Sketches DT that was my other fun news for the week!!!  Yay!!!  Looking forward to it, her sketches are the bomb!  They really are!!  Make sure you go check it out!!!  And TPV has an amazing opportunity coming up starting the 7th so make sure you check that out too!!!

SIWAS! Beach Boys! Fun Fun Fun!!!

Happy Monday everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at Scrap it With a Song!  The inspiration song this week is the Beach Boys Fun Fun Fun!  This is my bestie Erin across the table from me scrapping all week long this past Spring Break!  She only scraps when I'm around!  The tools I cut out of cardstock!  I had the glue the freaking scissors down because I kept trying to pick them up to cut something!!!  So if you have time in your crazy week to go play along please do!!!

Sketchy Thursdays giving it a try!

I'm finally in a scrappy mood!  Yay!  Thanks to the Paper Niche of course seeing that I got all the new totally yummy My Mind's Eye and Bo Bunny Papers!  And not to mention all the Prima flowers were ummm.... 1/2 price.  Swoon, don't tell my husband!  So I created this layout tonight for the Sketchy Thursday Challenge going on right now.  It was a fun sketch to play with and I totally copied everyone's paper punched ruffle, totally love the look.  I've got to go pack and get the 12x12 papers, I only purchased the 6x6 pads because I scrap 8x8 (Yes this is an 8x8 page!) and the 6x6 work great.  But there are just some of them I LOVE.  


I'm totally excited about all the new product coming out.  I've got these on the MUST HAVE NOW list :D  I can't wait they are so awesome :D

I have serious issues...

I was looking back on my old flickr photos on my account and I ran across these...

Beautiful right?  These were taken after I first moved into my new place about a year and 3 months ago... and here in lies the issue... this is my space currently!!!!!

Yeah so I might have a problem.. haha!!!  My poor husband, LITERALLY!  oops!  I guess I could always just quote the taco bell dog...

 

My Weekend with Amazing Grace

This past weekend I got to spend it crafting with my very sweet friend Bea from Amazing Grace.  We had such a great time playing until all hours of the night.  It was her birthday weekend!  Here's a picture of the two of us!

We had some, well ALOT of cupcakes for her birthday!  She's holding my latest creation, "Rum in da coconut" they were sooo good.  Here's a close up for your tastebuds to get all jealous!

I was so not in the mood to make layouts so we were trying to find stuff to do to keep us away from the cupcakes!  So we made some fun hearts out of chipboard!  Here's one that I did!

I was playing with the Once Upon a Springtime Graphic 45 papers all weekend long!  We painted, stamped, embossed, modge podged, crackled, and so much more to chipboard!  Def. got dirty!!  There are a bunch more of my hearts over on her blog, so make sure you go check them out!

New Sketch at Sketches in Thyme

Happy Thursday Everyone!  It's that time again for another fantastic sketch challenge at Sketches in Thyme!  I used OA paper as well as Fancy Pants Designs.  I've had this layout done for weeks and for the longest time I thought it was missing something, but I think it's just perfect with the clean lines, clean clustering, etc.  So here's the sketch, you have until the end of the month to get your sketches linked up.  I can't wait to see everyone's work!
